I read it out loud to my wife and struggled at the end to get through it. There are a few similarities in your story with your dad and her's' with her father, the big difference being that she was able to reconcile with her dad just before he passed about 10 years ago. Even after a decade, it's amazing how raw the feelings can be about this kind of stuff. We wrote a tribute for him at the time (in part, to set the confused and very negatively spun record straight) and it really helped. We still go back and read it (with the kids) every now then. Take care.

Re: Talisman

I've meant to tell you this and keep forgetting: You probably hear it all the time, but you have a real gift for photography and an amazing eye (hehe, get it?). Seriously, not kissing up : )

Re: Twitter Swarm: Motrin v. Moms

As a middle aged, non baby wearing, dude (and the person with the back spasm referred to in the post, I think), I must say that Motrin has not only managed to offend the influential moms on Twitter, but me too. Companies that are still not paying attention to social media at this point in the game are too stupid to trust with my back pain. Sorry Motrin, better apologize real soon & rethink the game plan.

Re: Best.Concert.Ever

Karoli, after reading your sound quality disclaimer, I almost didn't listen to these gems....glad I did These guys are fantastic and the sound is much better than you would think for a video rip. Thanks for sharing this.
