I never would have thought of it on my own, but there's probably some truth to the idea that those who suck us dry aren't just doing so out of destructive desires. Maybe it's all they know how to do.

I like it. Just don't spend too much of your life trying to thaw those who are frozen to the core while there are probably warmer trees out there ;)

I like this one a lot. I hadn't even noticed the date on it until I opened the comment form. There are many of these haikus I've never seen, so I think it's a great idea to bring older ones back to the front once in a while.

As a female who didn't particularly care much what people thought when I was growing up, I admit it puzzles me a little too. Now I have a preteen daughter and I wish I had a better insight.
