Short term moves do not indicate very much and it will seen over the months and years whether or not any of the "necessary moves" had a positive impact.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;If I've got my numbers correct, yesterday's rally was the fifth highest, percentage-wise in market history. Most of the higher percentage one-day rallies made their debut at the beginning of the great depression.
