Good for the Washington Independent to raise the issue of media gender bias as it affected Sen.Clinton's campaign in Iowa. This bias continues in the mainstream TV media, notably MSNBC --hope this newssite will go on checking out this aspect of the national campaign.

There is nothing "negative", nor any personal attack on Obama, in Hillary Clinton's campaign statements that compares her greater experience with his lesser experience. Her campaign was aggressive, certainly, this weekend in that many volunteers phoned voters in Ohio and Texas to say that she is the best qualified person to be president, and most people agreed, as her victories in those states show. It was good campaigning, not based on rhetoric but on facts. Her victories also have implications for the general election because Ohio and Texas carry great weight in the electoral college. Democrats should see that Clinton has the fighting will, the smarts, and the popular backing to beat McCain, and keep their eyes on the prize: no more Bush.

I would like to remind everyone that Hillary Clinton is the best qualified candidate for the job of President, regardless of the mainstream media's excessive favoritism toward Obama satirized by Saturday Night Live. A man with Clinton's credentials would not have been mistreated by teh media as she has been. A woman with Obama's credentials would not be running at all. Nobody gets a job without having experience. If you need surgery, do you hire the surgeon who's just out of medical school or the one who has performed the operation many times? This is a question that ought to be in the minds of all delegates to the Democratic convention.
