My next step is to report them to the Better Business Bureau as they have already charged my credit card, but no battery. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Re: We&#8217;re Giving Away a Neuros OSD - Ho Ho Ho and Stuff

Thanks for the chance!

Re: ThoughtPiece: Will the iPhone be good for RIM?

Great post, and I agree completely. So many Blackberry loyalists are so completely brainwashed about how the Blackberry will win the battle with iPhone even before it has been released. I love my 8700g, but I'm hoping that the market as a whole will continually improve upon what is out there. This comes from exactly what you talk about in terms of competition. I am a Mac user and I'm hoping that the announcement of the iPhone will get RIM to pay attention to its Mac user base. (No consistent synching, no desktop manager, no OS upgrading, etc.) Fingers crossed!

Re: ThoughtPiece: Will the iPhone be good for RIM?

nsimpson..."<br>Pocketmac has been around for a while, it was only after the annouced the iPhone did they have an issue with the software."<br><br>Not true...Pocketmac has been an ISSUE for quite some time now. It is riddled with problems and does an inconsistent job of synching. All you have to do is go to the "Mac" area on <a href="http://pinstack.com" rel="nofollow">pinstack.com</a> and you will see hundreds, if not thousands of posts on this issue. RIM bought the use of the software from Appliance Associates and never got involved in any aspect of the program. As well, there is no desktop manager for Mac users...c'mon, get it together. You can successfully sync Nokia, Motorola, etc with iSync.

Re: AIM and ICQ available for BlackBerry?

I don't understand...I have had these programs working on my BB 8700g for ages including Yahoo and MSN messenger. What's the deal?

Re: Weekly Contest: &#8216;How&#8217;s RIM Doing?&#8217;

I think there is no question of a slow down for RIM, and I believe that when the numbers are tallyed, the sales on the 8800 will be mediocre, at best. In fact, I will predict that the sales on the 8700 model will surpass it by a significant margin showing there is a slow down. They may have logged a million new accounts, but I would also suggest that most of those are directed to the Pearl and 8700 with people signing new contracts to get the phone inexpensively (i.e. Amazon). In the end, their stiffest competition in the consumer/prosumer market is yet to come with the release of the iPhone which will definitely rock their ship with a serious wave.
