so how were you supposed to type them in? im trying with the 3g which has codes already (just trying to make sure i can get them myself in the future) and it never spits out a usable key.

./GenPass s5l8900x 018-4875-7.dmg 018-4872-6.dmg

and

./GenPass s5l8900x 018-4877-7.dmg 018-4872-6.dmg

both spit out the wrong keys. anyone have any ideas?

madcowz I've heard that GenPass won't work with s5l8720x :(
But I managed to find out that I'm typing in everything right!

im just curious how to use it properly, no matter what i do i cant get it to spit out the proper keys for the fs dmg in beta 2, the keys are already out i know but i want to be able to use this tool properly and get them on my own (if it still works in subsequent firmwares)

ian.. that's like shutting down the grocery store because kids kept stealing candy from it. A majority of Muxtape users do not use 3rd party scripts to download. Also, the people who actually are using them will find other ways to get free music as well. I'd rather Muxtape open back up.

ianbetteridge You're right, of course, kb - but I think it will take something like that happening for the (relatively few) people who do download to learn that their actions have consequences. It's a shame, but perhaps they'll learn.

mathewi I agree, Kb. Muxtape was likely exposing plenty of people to new music
and artists, just like Last.fm does, or the radio. And you can tape
things off the radio pretty easily too.
