Great review so far :) I was intending to go to salalah this year but we didnt go .. it will be helpful if we decided to go next year.

All ministries have lousy allowance!! They are based on the rates 100 years ago .. they need to be changed!!

Just a correction, its : Kareef Salalah not Khareer :p

Nice ..

I would just give a suggestion, include Omani series too .. because although they are not always good some do stand out (Eg. Faghoor last ramdhan).

I love darcy, its a shame I cant go there often because its so crowded and like you said tables are very close to each other you dont get your privacy.

thier service are always great, but there is this one time .. we went there for lunch .. and the waiter came and asked us what we want to order and we told him .. he gave a comment that it will take time .. we said ok .. 10 mins later, the manager comes and says: the food will take half an hour .. we felt as if they were trying to ask us to leave .. so we left!

it was quite disrespectful of them.

over all, darcys food is really really good !!

I did vote 2 years ago .. when I saw the awards, I was not surprised .. I mean the "most" popular places got the votes .. but it doesnt mean its the best .. this is why I would go for a commitee .. because it would evaluate the resturants more..

If I voted this year, one thing for sure .. I would vote Glacier as best coffee shop .. I just love that place!!
