So does this thing observe aspects of your life other than health? If I bought a plain ticket and the clock suddenly changed to hours, I would think twice about taking a trip. (Seriously though, I question the accuracy of this product. Have they tested it on organisms with a shorter lifespan to finetune it? Or is this just a novelty purchase?)

Wouldn't it be better to use something else beside sound? Vibration for instance. It just seems to me that vibration (varying levels of which) would be something that is much easier to pick up on. It might be a little harder to judge the accuracy of it, but with a little practice, it could work pretty well for the visually impared.

Toys now are cheap crap, such as (shudder) Yu-Gio products. Toys back in the day were too dangerous (Im looking at you long-darts)... is there no happy medium?

Im reminded of that one Simpsons episode... the one where homer get himself a gigantic version of one of these for christmas. Just thought that was noteworthy.

To be immortal would be really cool, assuming you didn't get bored of life eventually. However, lets get one thing straight: death is a GOOD thing. Maybe it's hard to appreciate while you're lying in bed with terminal cancer, but death is a necessary part of life. If you take out death, you get extreme overpopulation, infinitely more polution, and the cheating of the already cheated natural selection of humans. There are many other reasons but this is just food for thought.

Just a shot in the dark here, but maybe that is the screen you get while it analyzes your breath, kind of like a load screen? The face doesn't look shocked so much as it looks like its breathing on something so maybe thats the screen you get when it takes a sample...

To Lab_Rat: I don't know for sure, but wouldn't the electromagnetic stuff screw up the rocket's circutry?

I'm so glad people are making great thing like this for jerks like me. It IS pretty expensive, but I can see myself buying, like, 3 of these during the course of this year. The only other features I can think of that would make this better is a programable list of numbers that you could put in as well as color options so that it would blend in to even light-colored places. Even, without these features, though, it's still a pretty cool product. =)

The camera does seem more like a toy than a quality camera, but I like the USB connection.

I've been holding off on joining the craze.
