in We’re not cool on Marketing Begins At Home
the other question you need to ask yourself is - "when is the last time you went to cnet on purpose?" - aren't they in the web 1.0 column? ;)

personally, i prefer my reviews and analysis to come from non legacy-minded folks, but i'm sure cnet serves some audience adequately...

now that my friend was a very entertaining post - thanks for that david, and thanks also to daniel for being the straight man - he seems very well qualified too - the clueless statements he makes can't be real though, can they ;)

guess you won't be able to go out to eat w/ family now david - your fans in stamford just won't leave you alone ;)

seriously, the fact that your "established, traditional former agencies" aren't even on the google radar is pretty sad...

"B2B means nothing anymore. It’s a distinction that with grunge bands and cheap oil, should have been left behind in the 90s."

niiiiice - i wish is said that ;)

in I think I’ll pass on Marketing Begins At Home
very funny stuff :-p

but i think you've misread her information superhighway homepage david, it's meant to be "retro" circa web 0.9 which is very in right now...

plus she offers some really solid advice - "Talk to your mail house about personalizing your business reply cards." - which of us hasn't forgotten to do just that from time to time...

finally, i agree w/ gary - you have to go, i'll lend you my iriver if you like ;)

in Spam hell redux on Marketing Begins At Home
boy the things i miss when i go boarding every weekend - i've got to get broadband up there :-p

now, goowy hiring you to help them figure out the correct way to market their stuff - that would be pretty smart - but pls don't hold your breath david...

lol - very nice...

so alex - it's ok to be misleading and unethical if the outcome is that you are successful in generating interest in your product...

now that sounds like marketing 1.0 ;)

as for goowy itself - i could care less whether it succeeds or fails, i liked david's callout post which is the only reason for my comment...

i do like the online accessible favorites though - very nice...

my flickr topbar came in fine - on windows, haven't done the test w/ one of our macs yet though...
