I was referred over here to watch this video on Thesis because I am contemplating a blog makeover yet I am blog challenged/illiterate.

I really appreciated this video - definitely made me interested in Thesis and want to learn more about it.

Ummmm - your version of simple is drastically different than mine. Lasagna and anything having to do with bolognaise do not fall under the simple category in this house. Simple is: cereal, PB&J and mac'n cheese.

In other words ... what time should I arrive for dinner? And is bangers something I want to eat?

You know, looking back, I wish I had done a lot of things differently when it comes to Santa. I LOVE your idea of having just one gift come from him ... in our house, most of the gifts come from him, which means my kids think they're going to get everything they want for Christmas because it will come from Santa. Sigh.

Santa wraps each girl's gift in their own paper - that way, it makes it easier to figure out which gift belongs to whom. He comes Christmas Eve and we open our gifts Christmas morning. All of the other gifts are already under the tree, as I wrap them.

I'm horrible. I haven't sent out Christmas cards in years. And I'm a digi scrapper, so it's not like I can't do my own on my computer and just print them out!

Sigh. Maybe this year. I won't hold my breath though.

My kids used to LOVE to do this! It was better than any toy they had at their disposal.

I would so love to do this, but I don't know of any dressers/bureaus that have drawers wide enough to hold a standard roll of wrapping paper? But wow, would I love to have all my wrapping stuff in one spot, instead of spread out all over my closet.

I think I've mentioned before how much I want a laptop.

But a pink one? How cool is that? I'd have to wrestle over it with my daughter but I think I could take her.

But ... now I'm going to have to check it out because I can't stand it when I'm not a part of something!

I want a laptop so badly! But I still don't have one and I think the primary reason is that my husband is afraid that once I become portable with a computer, my family will never see me again.

I can't say their worry is unfounded.

I use this one ALL the time, and you know why? Because it's TRUE. And when my kids try to sass me back, I just tell them that when they are adults and own their own home and pay their own bills and health insurance and car insurance, etc., then they can make their own rules. Until then, it's my way or no way.

My 20th was a couple of years ago. I didn't go. My best friend from high school didn't want to go either. But my twin brother flew in from Vegas to attend.

I figured that I already see everyone I would want to see from high school so there was no need for me to go.

I think I would have felt differently if I was 40 pounds lighter.

Me, Me, Me! I'm thinking about Christmas meals already! We always host Christmas Eve dinner and I'm already planning the menu and making a grocery list.

It's one of the few meals I really enjoy cooking during the year.

Oh, and egg nog? ((shudder)) .... skeeves me out. I can't eat anything with raw eggs. It's a psychological thing.

Of course, I make an exception for cookie dough.

OMG, if they made one for husbands, I'd be all over it.

omg, this made me laugh. I'm just picturing my husband as a guest blogger on my blog. It might work, provided my readers want to know exactly what's wrong their problem is and then read a two page dissertation about how to fix it.

When my husband first brought up the option of online banking years ago, I was so against it. I was totally paranoid about identity theft and having our information "out there."

Now we're been doing it for so many years, I can't imagine having to actually write out a check to pay a bill!

wow, I think you've got a pretty comprehensive list going! I always wanted a glory box - my girl friend had an absolutely lovely cedar chest. But I never did get an actual box ... although I did have quite a bit of stuff collected for one.

We've only had to deal with one blood episode with our kids and one is enough. I'm used to the broken bones around here, but blood is an entirely different matter. Ugh.

I've never done my Christmas shopping online - I'm always too hesitant because of shipping charges and problems with returns. But this year, with the cost of gas and the hope that retailers will offer free shipping 'cuz of the economy ... I might just try it.
