I have no idea! I need an answer too because my boyfriend's mother is very guilty of this. Not only is she chewing with her mouth wide open, she's talking the entire time. It's so gross that I'm afraid I'm making awful faces at her. I've contemplated saying, "why don't you finish chewing before continuing your story. I don't want you to choke!" I really want to say, "STOP IT; HAVE YOU NO MANNERS!"

Jenn! It's been a while since I've popped by. Your blog looks so different! Sorry for being such a delinquent bloggy friend. A lot has been going on. I know that's no excuse though. Now that I'm on hospital bed rest until the baby is born, you should be hearing from me more often! :)

As for the profile photos, that is really hard! They're all great photos! I love #1, but it's kind of far so you can't really see your beautiful face. I think my next fave is #6.

Ah-ha he just stated the reasoning behind why a lot people against IR D/M are against it.

Most folks won’t admit it but they learn this crap from a young age. Heck, most of them don’t even realize how ingrained these beliefs are. I don’t think kids are inherently predjudice when it comes to race. It’s LEARNED and a lot of parents are the initial driving force behind it. And until parents/guardians start taking responsibility for teaching their kids tolerance, this type of thinking will perpetuate forever.

Also, fear and rejection. “My parents will disown/reject/kill/write me out of the will if I blah, blah, blah”
Why are financially independent, responsible adults so afraid of their parents when it comes to these matters? I mean, matters that cause no harm and are silly compared to the strong reactions they cause. Sorry, I guess I don’t understand this way of thinking because I never gave a crap about what my folks thought of who I was dating. As long as he is treating me right, who cares what he looks like?

Will someone please explain what “he won’t make it with his people” means? I’m referring the comment about the “redbone.” Does this mean he is a hybrid breed who is incapable of reproducing? Like a donkey or something?

Ummm, so I guess this means that people who are mixed with anything (asian, Indian, Hispanic) are black too? Last time I checked a white/asian kid didn’t look a thing like black person. But maybe that’s just me.

This guy cracks me up. He’s worried about the white race being exterminated. Again, there are so many parts of the world where a dominant race prevails and has no chance of extinction anytime time soon. I’m thinking India and China as two examples. Maybe he should move there so he can hid from us black folks trying to homogenize the world. Lol.

As long as he is responsible for that child, it doesn’t matter who thinks what about him.

Fear is a big motivator. I disagree with the statement that white people are more opposed to IR D/M. More vocal? Maybe, but not worse. As a young black woman who constantly hears “What’s wrong with black men? Why can’t you find a nice black man to marry rather than a [insert race]” I have to say that opposition is strong on both sides.

Ugh, how ridiculous can you get? Kidnapping. Really? Terrible. So sad to see her cry. All this goes back to my previous comment about upbringing.

One way to tell sniff out an average photographer and a great one is the average will sell the images to you on a disk. The great shooter will not because they know how much they are worth. Great shooters start @ $2,000 and are worth every penny. However, most people don't nit pick that hard. So it's up to your preference. Those who sell their images are selling themselves out and hurting the industry for the top shooters.

Over on Tynan's(or Herbal's) website forum the vh1 show is being discussed.

He's lived in Austin Texas and is friends with Evan, the girl who was telling Spoon(?) about her health and diet and whatnot, saying he was rude to ask. She posts there too.

Here is a review of my results: Before 'Game' two girlfriends, 7 then 8(both end horribly) and could make out with smoking hottie on the odd occasion. My tactic: sacrifice friends, whatever, be alpha male at all costs.

On entering 'Community' two kiss closes(both weren't from running game; maybe 20% indirectly at most)

Duration: 2 years

It hasn't been what I hoped for on reading 'The Game' but I have faith.

Good question, yet painful in some circumstances.
