Nice list, a few of my reasons for not following:
# your twitter updates are private
# all you ever do is retweet
# you don't use a real name for your twitter url or your twitter username
# I see lol, LOLZ, :) and ROFL appear all over your profile.
# your twitter username is something like organic_foods_uk

Colorzilla is one of the few reasons I have Firefox installed on my Mac. I'd love a Safari version but I can live without it.

Oh God. That's fantastic. Did you ever see the Paul Whitehouse sketch for the South American football player at Newcastle? Pure gold.

James Mernin Ah yes, the infamous Julio Geordio if I remember his name correctly. He was one of my favourite Paul Whitehouse characters.

in Earth Day and Irish Rail on Life is grand
Public transport in Ireland is one big joke.

It costs 62 (or maybe 65 now) euro for a return 5 day ticket from Dublin to Cork. If you want to get a monthly ticket it costs approx 70 euro!

In the past year I have travelled on the Dublin to Waterford, Dublin to Galway and Dublin to Castlebar train. None of them had a 5 day return price. They each had a fixed cost in which the return journey could be made within 30 days of purchase.

So why are Irish Rail riding everyone on the Cork to Dublin train? More people travel that train than any other service in the county. It serves Kildare, Tipperary, Limerick, Cork and sometimes Kerry. Surely the more popular journeys should be more affordable?

Thanks for the heads up. Didn't realise S4 was back.
I doubt I will have control of the TV for 90 minutes this evening though. :(

I presume BSG already aired in the States! :)

TC has totally gone to the dogs. Their abuse of Pay Per Post is ridiculous too. What does dressing up like an Indian have to do with PPP's business model? TC = Trivial Crap.

My fav act at the moment are The Knife. They're an electro duo from Sweden resposnible for this track (covered by Jose Gonzalez for that Bavaria TV ad)

If you like your down tempo house then Alex Gopher is one to check out too. French and Chicago House is my love when it comes to House.

Fish Go Deep (Cork group) probably have the most subscribed to podcast on iTunes at the moment. Each week they release their Saturday night radio show to the world. It's well worth the download.

Good team.
I reckon Richardson is a dark horse to be in the top 10 midfielders come the end of the season.

Safrai on Windows is to help Windows users migrate to the only browser currently available on the iPhone. In saying that though, I'm sure Opera will make its way to iPhone once the whole software development thingy is cleared up.

By parsing a feed like that you're running the risk of being sandboxed for duplicate content, as the owners of the feed.

You should add some urchin code to each one of your outbound affiliate links in order to track clicks. I don't see much point in doing what you're doing anyway, I doubt it would increase the click rate.

in Getting GTalk working through Adium on Life is grand
Paul, you can get a widget for your Mac which provides a snapshot of your Gmail inbox - http://www.google.com/macwidgets/index.html - I haven't messed about with it too much but it's better than having to pop open a browser to check your inbox.

I got my Mac on Thursday :)

I miss GTalk thou :(

I thought your talk was quite interesting. It's a shame Donnacha went over time alright. He had quite a crowd in there. I'm thinking of buy a MAC now since I saw your demo. Mightly impressed by them...

'so i can’t be done by google for that'
I wouldn't be so sure. Look at these search results for my name on msn (they're the same on live.com) > http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=cormacmoyl...

For some reason MSN have dropped my blog. I don't know why. But i do know they're cracking down on link farming that they feel is been abused. I'm not involved in any farming, nor have i submitted my blog to any dodgy sites. I must get in contact with them and find out what's happening.

Unless you have an inside man @ the big 3 who is feeding you information then what you're doing with those directories could be dodgy. They could be cosher too but I would advise severe caution.

Carefull. That sounds like blackhat SEO and could result in your site getting blacklisted from SERPs

Have a gander at this post by richard over at Redcardinal.ie
http://www.redcardinal.ie/google/20-12-2006/lin...

Also whenever you mention jpegr you should link to it to increase your inbound links. It all counts.

Be very carefull with whom you hire to do some SEO for you. I dabble myself and Richard is getting a great name for himself but if you use a dodgy contact for some short term SEO your site may get tainted in the long run.
