in Barrio Siete Tribe: Doing Things Right And Flying High on Social Media Philippines
nice write up! The secret to the Barrio is that the founder has a strong following already in the founder's personal blog (ReynaElena.com). If you've been following Reynz in that blog you will notice that there was a community already. When Reynz opened a blog collective, everyone knows this is not just a fly by night community forum/blog. Participation was like the first day that History album was out by Micheal Jackson in Manila, the line was three times around the block. To a new comer, it is not intimidating to just jump in and participate, not only the articles can easily relate to them but also they can enjoy a welcoming atmosphere. It does not matter if you talk the 50th dialect in the Philippines, or the high polluting language (Which so far only is displayed by one commenter--B).

in Helpful Tips To Become The Next Superstar Blogger on Social Media Philippines
you are right about the about page. I was not keen in putting my face in it before but when I did, it seem to have given life to my blog in a way that I opened myself to others and others see me as an individual also.

Rob Angeles That's the whole point in making sure that your About page exists. It introduces the individual behind the posts, the passionate author who writes diligently. Besides, people need to know you better before they decide to start online/offline relationships with you.

Thanks for the time sis!

Well said. Now that I read one of your post, I will definitely come back for more. I will also link you up, RSS and everything else, so I can be updated. It's good to hear you talk (I mean read from your blogs) other than being classmates in the commenting section of Barrio Siete.

Wow, you have teens already? Let me introduce myself, I am Mahalia, I live in Ohio and have two toddlers and a 3 mo. old baby. My son who's turning 5 next year will start Kindergarten. And after that I think life is going to be a lot busier. More than the busyness of having three in diapers now. Enough said.

The DNC is live today and my hubby and I are watching it. Did you?
