Whether you have nofollow or not or wordpress or not youll get a ton of spam. I just leave all the comments on my blogs as long as they say something meaningful.

From a simple view its simply eating less calories than you take in, but its recommended to excercise especially cardio and weight lifting so you can maintain muscle too. It's important you get a balance of protein and carbs in your diet on a high protein diet. Thats how bodybuilders do it and they know how to lose fat better than anyone.

Once your blog is established you don't notice much difference, whether you post every week or monthly, if most of your traffic is from the search engines and your site is established.

I have high technorati authority on some of my sites, and I get way more through Digg in 5 minutes then I ever get from technorati.

If every site(or most) removed nofollows then we would be back to square one and spam would be out of control. It is great though when some bloggers remove it. Most people flock to those sites that do that, just consider it as being in "the know".
