That's amazing.

I'm so glad things finally worked out at the end.

Vote this guy in. McCain supporters: WAKE UP!

I just hope this guy remains safe. He will make a lot of corrupt fat cats unhappy. We NEED someone to make corrupt fat cats unhappy. and this is the guy to do it.

in Rails: Group results by week (using group_by) - Ariejan.net on Ariejan.net
Hello,

What goes in side the partial? When I wrote this in rails 2.0.2, it said that it couldn't find the _post.html.erb partial to render. I created that and placed some queries inside but it just posted everything once for each week.

Thanks!

True, it would be absolutely horrible if knols are given special priority over other web content. I don't see any evidence for that yet though.

If Google just treats knols like general web content with the main difference being an author and higher Adsense revenue then I don't see any reason why Wikipedia would get hurt. They should automatically get ranked high if the quality of the content is excellent.

Someone at Google should clarify that soon.

hmm.. seems like I'm banned or something...

Knols is not even aimed at Wikipedia. With one author for one topic, there is no way they can even reach the size of Wikipedia at anytime soon.

I can see how Mahalo.com or About.com may be in trouble but I don't understand why anyone is comparing knols with Wikipedia. They are COMPLETELY different animals.

Adam Ostrow They are slightly separate in how they work (or at least, as described by Google), but the end game seems the same - have an authoritative site about as many topics as possible. And with Wikipedia depending so much on Google searches to drive traffic, there could be major consequences if Google gives priority to Knol pages in search results.

It would have been cooler if it was a self contained flat OLED screen or something. A projector on the roof? Bleakh. I have Windows XP projected on to my floor right now. Can I be famous now? :D

Too bad they don't just put it up with subtitles.

The dubbed versions sound extremely watered down and lame!

I think adult swim should just do subtitles and forget the english dubbing.
