in Behance Dot Grid Notebooks on Kolby Kirk Photography
Recently I have become frustrated with the notebook market. I'm looking for a dot-grid notebook to use as a work journal/capture tool. I've been using gridded notebooks, but find the lines too dark. (I like and use squared Moleskines for personal use, but I'd rather not have to spend that kind of money on a notebook for work.)

in Startup Funding In Australia – A VC’s Perspective – Part 1 on TechNation Australia
I had begun jotted down a list of resources I’ve found helpful while trying to start a business in Australia. I was going to make a blog post out of it. Yesterday I was introduced to a site that has beat me to the punch, and has made it much more useful then a blog post would have been.

in Political Affairs Magazine - Swaziland: Demise of sugar industry hits healthcare services on Political Affairs Magazine
The sugar industry has provided much of the province's infrastructure, from roads and housing to schools and hospitals, but with the industry in decline, companies are already cutting back on these services. The Royal Swaziland Sugar Corporation (RSSC), the biggest player in the industry, has closed one of its four clinics and merged two others, while Ubombo Sugar Limited is also planning belt-tightening measures.

in Ask.com Is Advertising on Google! on Customer relationship, marketing, internet and beyond
Back in February, I spotted how Ask.com was showing up to five Google search ads above the organic search results. It only happened when using Internet Explorer on a PC, because (I guess here) the Ask.com team didn't want to upset the early adopters who use Firefox and Safari or a Mac.

in Internet Advertising Plan is Evolving on Tim Bossie.com
Online is the new offline. Like most catch phrases this one doesn't really say anything earth-shattering; it isn’t really news that more and more things are going digital. What it does rather neatly encapsulate is that in implying the launch of a new dominant mode of operation, there are a host of implications, both online and offline, for lifestyles and business in general, and for the media industry in particular.

Members of Oneness Pentecostal churches historically have rejected the doctrine of the Trinity as polytheism. The more combative members of Oneness churches say Trinitarians will go to hell.

in Rocketboom Blog - Space Invaders Chewing Gum on Rocketboom Blog
The bubble-gum series (which includes shots of wads of gum stretched between buildings, and the giant-looking bubbles) was created for the Venice Biennale in 1999. I had a small budget, but I wanted to do a huge piece in this place where everyone else was showing huge pieces. The chewing gum is real, chewed, chewing gum and, in the pictures, there appears to be a lot, but I only used a few packages for the entire series of thirty installations.

in Philosopher’s Corner: The Principle of Intervening Action on OpenMarket.org
That being said, under the current amount of pressure on the American public, it is hard to see the public endorsing more government spending and corporate tax breaks due to the conditions going on. In addition to this, the macro economic “recession” that consumers are going through will slow down HRS’s sales in the consumer market aswell, causing an all together reduction in revenue and for that matter an inability to meet liabilities and an eventual collapse into insolvency.
