I understand that this is a blog and not a standard news site so you have full editorial leeway on your posts but I still think that it would of been fair to at least contact the writers you were criticizing for their response.

Just to reiterate what has been said before, Soccer America has a different focus then EPL Talk so you have to take that into consideration when you look at their work. The readers of SA want to know about information focused on the American game and not about the politics, current stories, or history of the European professional leagues so why should of the guys at SA asked those questions you listed?

Gaffer, remember not to get so wrapped up in the agenda of your own site that you forget that fellow writers have their own audience & missions they are trying to accomplish; and remember most that although you don't work for the same companies, these other writers are your colleagues and they deserve better then being called inept.

Re: Hicks and Gillet’s Excellent Adventure to Continue | EPL Talk

Amazing...the team underachieves and the owners are blamed. Have the Yanks made mistakes? Yes, they threw Rafa under the bus with the Klinsmann story but at the same time Rafa himself shoulders some blame for making the environment acidic for the owners instead of supporting his own employer. Now fans are talking about not supporting Liverpool FC? Come on, you are supposed to support your team no matter if it has idiots who own it or not...the badge means more then just who the current owners.

Either way, Liverpool fans & players need to get real: not finding a consistent team of XI and a long line of draws is a much bigger reason for Liverpool's league position then anything the owners have done. If the fans don't get realistic and acknowledge this truth then they are just as delusional as the Newcastle United fans who somehow think that their current squad should be Champions League material instead of struggling mid-table.

Re: Arsene Wenger Wants Lifetime Ban for Taylor

If this post wasn't supposed to be an attack on Wenger then why use the phrase "shut up"? This whole post came off as being unsympathetic to how those of the Arsenal staff felt; yes, Wenger should of held his tongue but he had just seen one of his players suffer an injury that could be career ending.

I'm starting to notice that there is meaner tone to this site lately...
