I've had personal experiences of sharing and losing food from the common fridge at the university hostel. The space and the size of bottles that can be kept inside looks limited and small though.

Re: Woofer: The 1400 Character Anti-Twitter

Writing in 140 characters is difficult, and elaborating in 1400 chars is a pain.

Re: Communications in a Post Media World

Interesting. This is the first time 'm coming across an article on post media communications.

I liked the 'Tune Your Signal. Gather' part of this article. Even though we've the tools, our goals get distracted, or may be, we try to grow at a pace faster than our momentum and end up dejected!

As you pointed out, 'm still learning reaching out to people and making my voice heard! One fine day, may be, you'll hear it too :)

Look forward to seeing more articles on this..

Re: How Alltop Powers Bloggers

This reminds me of the once famous (now obsolete!)BlogRush network. However, Alltop will do good as a blog directory! All the best!!

Re: Get More Twitter Followers TODAY

Well, I had a bad experience with thousandsoffollowers or some junk site like that. They were tweeting through my account almost everyhour OMG! Finally, I had to opt-out and change my password (coz their opt-out option was a farce!) to stop those annoying tweets. Again, even when people follow the above set of rules that you've outlined, there is a possibility that they will rely on some automation software like tweet-later to respond to the followers.. Lemme see if I can boost my followers in the next one week ;)

Thanks for this post!

Re: The Power of the Absurd

Well, at the end of the day it's all about creating more visibility, and generating more money out of ones' blogs. So, there are a zillion people out there searching for keywords such as twitter and social-media marketing, and you did the right thing of posting articles sporting their names. Wow! That's a nice move to boost website traffic, as you've already published the stats ;)

Slightly outta topic..are you using WP-stats? Not sure if that's reliable ;)

Re: Case Study: 3 Months to a Better Blog

Well, it depends on the post frequency and the quality of the posts, as you've mentioned. I think it also depends on the luck of the blog ;) jus kidding!

So, 've got a query about the reader best practices that one must follow.. What do the readers like? Long posts or short and sweet ones? You got any analytics on this?

Re: Web Design Resource Roundup #6

This is a good collection. However, whenever I try to customize a icon set to suit my blog design, I end up getting uneven whitespaces around the icons. Also, when I edit and save png icons, they lose their transparency. Is there an editor to solve these petty, yet nagging problems?

Re: 3rd Anniversary of Full-time Blogging

Dude! Congratulations!!! This is indeed great news that you've been blogging for 3 years. I came across your site while searching for Ubuntu in Google. Well, 'm also a blogger who have been blogging for more than 2 years, unfortunately had to close down the blog for lack of funds to host it and a few other 'ill-partners' problems. Now I've a new blog, and I'm trying hard to be creative and more content-based like yours.

Keep blogging, and let me know if we can be 'blogger-friends'!! :)

Re: IE8 Beta 2 Features Anonymous Surfing (a.k.a P*rn Mode)

Well, I would say that this new version of IE has been installed on my dual core Vista powered notebook, and the performance is no where near Firefox or Google Chrome. The Inprivate browsing feature is good, but the program is HIGHLY unstable, which eventually makes this browser unusable (even for porn, per se!). Microsoft is a good imitator of other products, but it should also invest some time in making its products as stable as their counterparts.
