No the police can't be everywhere at once, but I am ceratin that if you were the victim of a violent crime, the police would be the ones responding (putting their lives on the line) to save your "unbelievable lost soul".
As for your last comment, it doesn't even make enough sense to solicit a response.

in Nashua Telegraph Blogs on Off TrackIt's not the younger crownds that I find to be a problem. It's the 21 year olds and up that fail to relize what a job and responsibility is. they go to these parks to feel cool in front of teenagers deal drugs and statutorally rape the un knowing tween girls that go. Its just disgusting to see grown men and I use the term loooooosly hang around with these young kids and influence them to go down the looser road they've gone down them selves. Reply all you want I've seen it all first hand. I my-self am 25 and stoped doing those things at about 15. Its just remedial adults acting like they're still in high school they should make an age limit maybe that would help.

you bigot, racist
There sure are a lot of assumptions in that post, aren't there.
I'm not sure that 'spanish descent' is racist, but it sure is bigoted. And your statement certainly makes you sound that way; whether you mean to, or not.

The most telling aspect of this whole exchange is the smallness of mind posters here are branding themselves with in their glaring prejudice against perceived age, and against any sort of solid old-fashioned standards allegedly associated therewith.
Here's something else you of stunted mind need to learn: In the cosmic Scales of Justice, sins of degeneracy (the soft or "female" sins) weigh every bit as much as sins of overt violence (the hard or "male" sins)! That's clearly beyond you at this point, but I will nonetheless do you the honor of inviting you to think about it . . . because it's true whether you want it to be or not.

in Soldier acquitted in Iraqi's death on Nashua TelegraphThank you for your service over there. How long were you in Iraq? I think it'd be enlightening for you to share some of what you experienced over there.
Have you seen any of the "Winter Soldiers" testimony from other Iraq vets? Here are a few links:

I keep hearing about the supposed benefits, but when it comes to discussions like these, the typical "pro" bullet points are "well, alcohol and tobacco are legal so this should be too!" That's not a compelling argument.
I do agree that what a person does in their own home is their own business. But this issue goes outside the home. The bill that the legislature is considering does not legalize anything, it decreases the penalty. You'd still have to buy from drug dealers, and the money will still likely fund who knows what, including gangs and guns. Every time an innocent person is gunned down in the street, I stop and wonder if these illegal pot sales are a contributing factor. Where do you think the gangs and dealers get their money?
There is great potential harm in legalization or de-criminalization. I have yet to see a calm, clear, compelling argument in favor of it. The fact that people use it now is not compelling. It doesn't express a benefit to society.
The only tangible benefit I've read is for medicinal use. And I think that is tenuous at best. Look at what happened in CA. Some doctors chose to write prescriptions to anyone and everyone for anything. It just encouraged more law breaking. And for what? So people could get high. I still fail to see why that's something we want to promote.
I've read plenty about the subject, and I read a lot of these editorials, even though they tend to follow the same standard points. I'm not "uneducated". I have seen the effect of drug use on people I know. I don't think this movement is a good thing. I don't think the pro-legalization folks are making a good argument.
