Guess Darlton changed their minds...

I was a bit tiffed about the Libby thing but if it really isn't important to the story then fine, its done. But what I don't get is why Rose and Bernard and Vincent for that matter are so (much more) important than a character like Libby. Maybe its just a difference of opinions.

Don't get me wrong though, I love Rose and Bernard and their story but I just never found their story as interesting as Libby's I suppose.

Re: http://spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2009/04/episode-5x14-variable-new-abc-promo.html

Ohhh boy.

This is gonna be one intense episode. I'm not liking the whole bomb thing though...something about it feels forced and frustrating. If this does end up being the incident I'm going to be sad...I was hoping it was gonna be Miles and Baby Miles getting too close.

Whatever it is I'll still looooove Lost.

Re: http://spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2009/04/latest-tidbits-from-kristin.html

Eh...isn't this stuff we already knew? Sagasta's right, she was the only female to get anything important done (Kate and her indecisiveness, Claire and her MIAness and Sun and her doing nothingness). Her character can't be finished. I hope.

Re: http://darkufo.blogspot.com/2009/01/what-did-you-think-of-episode-502-lie.html

I really thought both episodes were truly incredible. I thought BYL set the time travel thing up perfectly, and it wasn't just explained away by a character. It was shown... beautifully.

And The Lie... I had lowered expectations because of the reviews, but I really thought it was one of the more powerful character episodes. The scene with Hurley and his mom, and the one with Sun and Kate, and Ben telling Jack he's never coming back... wow.

And then that ending... what a different, interesting Ben. This story is big... bigger than we ever thought.

And to top it all off, the scenes for next week looked incredible too. Lost is back.

Re: http://darkufo.blogspot.com/2009/01/what-did-you-think-of-episode-502-lie.html

Interesting... but Hawking can't be the mom because she's in LA (we assume) and Mama Faraday is in Oxford.

Re: http://darkufo.blogspot.com/2009/01/episode-league-table-season-5-week-1.html

Why all the hate on One of Us? I look forward to your review each week, so I was a little distressed when Wednesday night rolled around and I still hadn't gotten my fix of your great writing and keen observations. You help me clear up the thoughts that are floating around in my head that I can't piece together just right. Thanks again for everything, and I'm glad you got through your busy (and unfortunate... stupid TV) week.

Re: http://darkufo.blogspot.com/2009/02/episode-league-table-season-5-week-6.html

Ummm... worse than Because You Left and Jughead? It makes sense, given his special "gift" for numbers, and the fact that Eloise didn't look too much older when child-Daniel was playing piano at the beginning?

If this is the case, then all three of the freigher scientists were born on the island, and two of them have since died. I wonder if Miles is next... and what it means that these last few children born on the island are dieing, along with all the unborn children that come after them.

Re: http://darkufo.blogspot.com/2009/05/what-did-you-think-of-episode-515.html

Remember the last time Locke was so dedicated to a cause? His ideas about "good intentions" clearly are coming from Milton Friedman, who's ideas have been undercut by recent reality. This was one of the major talking points during the Regan revolution of the 80's on limited government.

The fact is that urban poverty has more to do with deindustrialization and capital flight to developing countries. To blame the "War on Poverty" for the problems in these communities in unfair. You may argue that they were largely ineffective, but indeed the source of these problems was not these policies. "Voluntary cooperative action" through markets is what has caused the current economic crisis and worsened the conditions of the black urban underclass.

Re: Some of my favorite movies

Thanks, Russ! Gasp! Most people do cycle in jeans, it's not like he is a pro or anything, obviously. That "trailer" on the back is an InStep hitch bike I bet. Also, his feet aren't to far off, a little forward, but oh well, no one is perfect. Also, his tire looking flat may be due to the extra weight from that bicycle attachment for the kids?

Re: http://www.crimene.ws/2009/03/cook-county-sheriff-dept-sues.html

Sorry, I ment.....Does the Constitution protect, even known illegal activity.
