As shocking as this is, its not the first time. At the time of the release of "Kyon Ki" last year, I saw one of her interviews on TV. The host complimented her on her beauty and in reply she said that she's not very beautiful. In fact, without makeup she looks like a NEPALI :O

So I guess she's not really racist, she's just dumb :D

Ah, I faced the same problem last year when I started syncing my calendar. Luckily, I found help just 10 days later. Those 10 days were hell though. My alarm used to go off in the middle of the night. :D

I visited airtel's website on 30th and it looked okay. Even I noticed the change of domain and the weird URLs. They even have those dumb "landing" URLs :)

Whats sad is that I do find the cell broadcast shown as message alerts very annoying and I've turned those off for that reason.. But now that I know about this application to make it appear in the today screen, I can't install it. I can't install any application on my phone. Sucks! :(

I already use some of these softwares. I use Norton though because it came with the laptop and I just keep renewing the subscription. I use Flashget for downloads. I use Bloglines beta as my feedreader. I am a satisfied user of WinSCP & µTorrent. Can't believe I used the resource hog Azureus earlier.

I wanted to try Windows Live Gallery after you wrote about it first but the live universal installer refuses to install it on my comp for some reason.

Heh! The screenshot reminded me of my J2EE days. The most dreaded exception was "NullPointerException", though. I agree that Citibank and ICICI Bank have pretty good websites. I have not been able to login to the HSBC website for the past 1.5 years cos the site doesn;t recognise the code generated by my "security device"!

Since I do have a Windows mobile phone and I use Outlook calendar extensively, Google calendar is really redundant for me. But ya, I can see how it would be useful for others.

And I only use Gmail and Google Reader out of the 5 apps you've mentioned.

I agree with Vasuki. The rating have been truncated. So while we see both the ratings as 9.1, those are actually different.

Honestly, I think "The Godfather" is one of the most overrated movies ever. I would like "The Shawshank Redemption" to be no. 1.

I have seen each and every episode of "Lost" and am waiting for the 4th season. The most obvious recommendation for any "Lost" fan would be "Heroes". Its really good. Try it! Star World is repeating the 1st season before the second season begins in Jan.

Great! But the problem with these plans is the low download limit. Wouldn't one be tempted to download more on such connections. My last month's usage on my 256 kbps unlimited plan was 30 GB. So this plan would never do for me.

Okay, so I got IMAP 2 days ago and I tried configuring it in Outlook 2007 at work (which I already use for office mail and MSN). And it failed. Searching for it revealed that a lot of people are facing problems with Outlook 2007 and Gmail IMAP. I wrote to Google and they have replied asking for screenshots and stuff. Lets see what happens. On my home laptop, I was able to configure it in Windows Live Mail but it took a lot of time to download messages. I am disappointed!

I like the new look. Sure, it could have been better but I think they didn't want to really change the way the site works so there had to be a trade off.

In fact, the redesign revived interest in Orkut for me and I scrapped few people (I normally just reply to scraps!).

Hey, I was thinking of getting an HTC touch but then I read your post yesterday evening and couldn't resist anymore and got it today!! :)

Its great! But when I inserted my SIM, it gave an error saying that my active network (ID:14405) was different from the default or something. I realized that it was because I had an "Airtel Gold" SIM. I had to manually select "Airtel" to get it to work. I called up Airtel and they were pretty clueless about the whole thing. :D
