Is the gag that the robot isn't hip no more?
Is it a deeper social commentary on that geek who we all went to school with who never moved out of home and never improved his/her social skills?
I don't geddit! SPOON FEED ME!

Ooooh, now this one I like.
It's a simulacrum for the human condition, ever trying to manufacture love, but never achieving anything lasting or truly satisfying.

I think this is a good example of why many webcomics have two people writing them (so there's someone to bounce ideas off and brainstorm, instead of appealing to the reader base, see pennyarcade podcasts for some hilarious banter that turns into comics).
This comic is also very funny, which proves that even one man can come up with a brilliant idea (though everyone knows anyone who can create something wonderful on their own is "damaged goods", that's a good thing btw).

I think it's more that he is an emo little bitch, if miniature dinosaurs won't cheer him up then he's just being a sook for the sake of being a sook.

For those who may be interested, the Earth's orbit is decaying... but it's decaying outwards. Because the Sun is spewing out so much energy into space it is losing mass in the process. That means it has less of a pull on the Earth, and the years are going to get VERY (very very very etc.) gradually longer. Source: http://space.newscientist.com/article/dn13286-a...
Also: I think I can explain the dark patch. That is where the moon fell into the sun, preceding the Earth, thus COOLING the surface, making it radiate less light. *nods*
Also also: If you want to worry about decaying orbits, worry about the moon, it will eventually land into the Earth. :O

I do like the step by step (sorta) guide as to how you made it though.

$100 a slice for toast?!? That's inflation for ya.
Also: We should start taking bets on how long it takes before Kevin explodes from pumping out 3 comics per week. I give him 11 days.

The dude is clearly a robot himself, I mean, just look at him! His skull is open and his brains are showing and everything, and there are LEVERS which control him.
The smaller robot must just come and go as it pleases.
