So I'm not able to compare it against the original model in terms of size or benchmarks. But I've heard a disturbing rumor that the Ice-45 can only be used to make chocolate ice cream. What the crap is that? What if I want to make vanilla or strawberry? Hopefully some clever chef will find a workaround so that it can be used with other flavors.

Re: OhGizmo! » Archive » Sanyo PLC-XL51 Utra Short Throw Projector - Now With Networking!

Ha ha ha! In addition to writers, we also have an elite force of mercenaries on the payroll to deal with commentors who disagree with us. As we see it, why just delete a comment or ban an account when you can solve the problem by dealing with the source directly.

Also, we do post the occasional concept device and I still have a softspot for LEGO, but I can assure you the two will never cross paths here.

Re: Guy Goes To Wedding, Discovers Uncle Is Real-Life Solid Snake

Phew! The time difference between series of shots is more than long enough for the software to make an intelligent guess as to where a series begins and ends. However, you'd still have to go in and weed out duplicate shots anytime you had to do re-takes during a shoot, which was every time for us.

As it stands the GigaPan Stitcher software is definitely pretty basic right now, and there's plenty of room for improvement and polish.

Re: Private: B&H Selling A Rare Used Canon 1200mm f/5.6 Lens For Just $120,000

I know the article in the B&H newsletter says the used lens is being sold for 99k, but the 120,000 one is also listed under the Used Equipment section of their site.
