Baron is upset because Mahalo Daily, which is basically just a marketing vehicle for Mahalo.com, is arguably more popular than his entire business, Rocketboom.

However, he makes a great point when noting that Mahalo is not (yet) a success, but Calacanis acts as if he's over the hump and gives advice to others in a lofty tone on how to achieve. There are so many other entrepreneurs without the same talent for self-promotion with much more relevant advice.

Your example of the young couple is completely inaccurate. They would not be affected by cap gains tax under the scenario your present.

I'm lucky enough to be in the bracket which would see the highest increase in taxes under Obama's tax plan. I want to support him, but I'd also like to know that he plans to cut spending (especially in Iraq and on useless military programs) and balance the budget.

They are pulling craigslist feeds which are against the Craig's List TOS. They'll eventually be pulled. IT's too bad that Craig's List is so retrograde when it comes to feed and scraping.
