Hmm, a scary thought. All this saving does seem silly sometimes...saving for your future, sometimes at the expense of your current situation...so curmudgen's friend might be doing things "right" if he passes on before he retires...

Okay, i think that made me sound creepy, but yes, I agree that the on top taxing of the retirement accounts will probably affect the middle class the most.
