I never believe that kind of hype. I see blogrush as not a traffic exchange, but it's akin to the banner exchanges that were once very popular. You added the banner exchange code to your website and got 1 impression for every 2 you gave, or something similar. You still had to get some traffic of your own. The difference here is that blogrush is adding the level of being able to increase your traffic by spreading the news.

Will it work? Maybe, maybe not. Today I have more traffic, that converted to sales, than I did yesterday before I joined blogrush and added the widget. Will it last? Maybe, maybe not.

Re: Affiliate Summit 2008 East Attendee Details

It's nice to see more merchants attending also. Merchants need to be able to learn AND meet affiliates. :)

Re: My Ode to Today

Here is an article about Cadillac Day. Your story is an inspiration and your penguin is beautiful. I did post some photographs from the 9/11 and the week following at http://911memories.com

Re: Visions of wonderment with evisionArts

Mary's art is an inspiration, I love the painting "Iced Tea". When your eyes need a break and your mind needs to wander, gaze into one of her works of art.

Re: Friends

A friend is someone you can laugh and cry with, call after a long absence and talk like you had dinner yesterday. A friend knows when to listen, knows when to talk and is someone you can trust not to hurt your heart. Friends make life not lonely, they make life livable. But above all else friends trust each other and know deep in their hearts they would never do anything to hurt each other. And if they did something stupid, they would tell each other, and move on.

The people I call friend are people I would trust with my life. And I have. And they have trusted me with theirs.

Friends can hurt each other, intentionally or not, but then they realize what they did and they realize the value they have for each other and they "make up".

Friends share joy and share burdens and share sorrow, joy is no fun if there is no one to share it with, burdens and sorrow are insurmountable if not shared with people who love you.

Yes Jen you said it, friends know when to commiserate and they know when to give you a kick. The line is sometimes thin, but a friend can generally figure it out.

Hugs to you..... and all those I call friend. Even if they are not feeling like a friend right now.

Re: Tuesday’s Topic: Encouragement

Yes, change is good. Hard, but good. Some changes are brought by people encouraging you to do better, other changes are from people forcing change by actions that you may not like. But we all have the people around us that are encouraging and can tell us "like it is" instead of being "yes men".

I'm looking forward to big changes, some forced, some encouraged, some wanted and needed. I'm reading a book about vision, and even though I already knew my vision, it has been easy to put my vision on the back burner to help others with their vision. So it's time to encourage me, which actually does help me encourage others :)
