in Notebook Gift Ideas on I Bought a Mac
Although the mStand is nice, I just bought a Griffin Elevator and its a great stand.
The WD My Passport is a must for any laptop. I just bought the Titanium Passport Elite for my mbp and its been great. It is soo small and light. Plus usb powered so its ultra portable.

in My Vote Doesn’t Count - No, Seriously…It Doesn’t on eNaresh
I had to register in Texas where I just recently moved to and plan to vote tomorrow but we have the same law here. If you register by mail or don't show an ID then you must show one when you go to vote the first time. I just have to show my SSN or out of state DL (which I have). So, I would assume just about every state would be like this.

in New TV & New ISP on eNaresh
The TV looks nice. I got a 47" Philips Ambilight 1080p not that long ago and it is amazing. The Ambilight is a nice feature that I couldn't do without not on other TVs.
Nice looking speeds also. I have Time Warner and get that download but my upload is nowhere near that (not even half).

I normally search Google often for good shirts (mostly geek/gaming shirts) but PleaseDressMe has made it easy to find sizes and colors. Favorite search; http://pleasedress.me/?q=geek+sex

in iBAM Community? Let’s Discuss… on I Bought a Mac
I think community would be the best. You don't want things like 'help' as yes we (as a community) can provide help but it should be so much more. I think community describes what we are and also keeps it professional and short (compared to some others posted).

in What Antivirus Software Do You Use? on eNaresh
I use ClamAV when I do use one on my iMac. I haven't really used it and haven't had the need to yet on OS X. However, I normally recommend AVG for those who use Windows. I used it in the past without problems. Also trust my browsing habits and my bit torrent usage. I normally only download tv shows (when I do download) and only from the trusted source of eztv. When I do download other things it is from private trackers which normally do a great job of keeping out unwanted files.

in Google Chrome Released on eNaresh
I wouldn't say the lack of extensions would be a let down. This is a first beta and right now Windows only. I would expect them to push OS X and Linux versions before opening the API to developers. Plus limiting extensions right now allows for better bug reporting on the browser itself. FireFox gets thousands of bug reports that end up being caused by an extension. But then again, I prefer Safari over FF so I don't really use plugins anyways.
Also, you can't search a textbox on Safari either (a feature I do miss) so that might be in WebKit.
I haven't given Chrome a try yet as I'm at the office on an iMac so I'll have to install it on my wife's Windows laptop to test it out. I do love the thought that a tab can technically crash but not crash the browser and other features like that.
I'm sure we will see the browser integrated with other Google Services/Apps soon. Google has been known to not have services tie in right away. Gmail took some time before it had ties with other apps.

You let him waste money on a non-Mac laptop? He may lose the headache of a 7 year old Dell but not he has the headache of a new Compaq. :)

in Completely torn over mobile photos on Colin Devroe
I pretty much agree with what you put. Mobile photos like what your eating, how bad traffic is, and things of that nature fit better on Brightkite as Brightkite is all about where you are at. I think if you are going to post multiple photos, artsy photos, or any others that doesn't really have to do with where you are would be best for flickr.

I'm not 100% sure of this but I'm guessing the culprit cookies expire after 24 hours so my question is: Did you log in at all within the previous 24 hours?

in Presto Pixar Short on eNaresh
It is one of their best shorts. Saw Wall-E last week and the short was great. I'm a big fan of their shorts as well, I got the Pixar Short Collection Volume 1 DVD for Christmas last year. Amazing some of the shorts they did so many years ago.

in I Got A Job on eNaresh
One of my first jobs in high school was working overnight at a gas station. I worked from 10pm to 7:30am which wasn't that bad, then went to school until 2:30pm and then slept until work. Working overnight when it is slow allowed plenty of time for homework back then. You will be amazed at the type of people out and about at 2-3am even during the week. One tip is to stay as busy as you can (for me night shift had to do all the stocking and putting up the truck, so it was kinda easy). With it being slower and no sun outside it can seem like time just drags. Congrats on the job.

in How I’m using Spaces on Mac OS X on Colin Devroe
I wasn't aware that 10.5.3 added that function. I use more application separation. Space 1 is Browsing, Reading, Writing, etc. Space 2 is Dev Space with TextMate, CSSEdit, Transmit, etc. Space 3 is iLife Space which is for iMovie, iTunes, iStopMotion, etc (any apps that take awhile like Toast when burning dvds, etc). Space 4 is Graphics which is for Photoshop, Vector Designer, Pixalmator, etc. I use dual monitors so my second monitor has twitterrific, Adium, Skype, Coversutra, etc so they are always open for me.
I will have to mess with Spaces a little more and uncheck that box.

@aronowm2; I don't know how tall Gary is but Conan is 6'4" so he is pretty tall. When you see him next to just about anybody standing up he is normally taller.

in Twitter is definitely down, sorta on Colin Devroe
The follow and unfollow is a temp fix. It basically allows you to grab your past tweets that you missed but new ones still won't show. I hope it is fixed today.
@Colin: I had no doubt, it just further gave proof. :)
