Pay no mind to Alexa.. I read a while back that they changed their algorithm and are now more useless than they've ever been as a web performance metric.
In fact, They're now as useless as Google page rank is fast on the way to becoming. Don't count Alexa, Count unique hits and total page views.

lol... sorry to hear that Chris, with every other post you seem to have commented that you like the direction the blog has.
Just to set the record straight however.. the alexa is absolute bullcrap. This site gets twice the traffic it used to.. just look at the alexa of all the top bloggers and you will see they are tanking, in fact I think it is time I did a post about that.
However, you are entitled to you opinions... but that does not mean you are right :twisted:

You should just remove that little AdSense block you have in the footer. It doesn't serve much purpose and I doubt you're making any money from it.
If AdSense was really important to you, you'd be embedding it into posts. Where it is right now is just more wasted space.

Another way to prevent your blog's content from being scraped is to only provide partial text in your RSS feeds. If you provide full text, you'll discover your content will be found elsewhere.

No matter if you provide full or partial RSS feed, just watermark it with a name and URL of your site. Like "the following article was originally published on the site SITE NAME (site.url.com)". Many scrapers have ability to change links and text to their own (based on regular expressions or simple "find and replace"), so you have to change your watermark from time to time.
