I personally have found PPC is now too saturated which has driven up prices.

I agree you don't have the intent, but as socially-held information becomes more detailed, you should be able to profile better.

I ran a personal test with Facebook social adverts over the past two weeks and have had a much better ROI than with Google Adwords campaigns running. I think this will also become more competitive, pushing up the prices, but it offers good value at the moment.

Re: Facebook Traffic Drops in UK, Who Cares?

Hi Nick. I saw your post title and my first thought was that you meant that the UK doesn't matter. Just thought I'd let you know.

In terms of useage, I am based in the UK and the people I 'network' with certainly seem to be spending less time on Facebook.

Your post is very bullish, that's fair enough, but objectively, I'd like to ride the stats for a couple of months to see the trend.

Re: Facebook Traffic Drops in UK, Who Cares?

Another downturn... NMA - Facebook's UK unique user numbers have dropped for a second month in a row. The fall to 8.3m unique users in February from December's 8.9m puts an end to the social network's rocketing success.

http://www.nma.co.uk/Logon/ResourceBarrier.aspx...

Re: TescoDigital: Fail – The Full (Long) Story

I recently tried to buy something from Tesco Direct. On the day it was supposed to turn up (a week later) I had a phone call asking if I had received it. When I said no, I was told to order it again. "Can't you send me another one?" .... "No"

Every little helps!

Re: How To Be Highly Relevant On Twitter (and every other social media site too)

Hi John,

Great post and some good links in there too.
