I have been reading and listening what other people said already about ShowYourAdHere so far. I think many people are missing the point that it is a free ad service and you do not need a PhD(like OpenAds) to use your product.

I am really still playing with this blog and am not decided what to do with all the posts I have written on my old blog about affiliate marketing and making money online.

Re: Welcome to Sage Blogger!

It looks like two crazy people talking in the wilderness right now on this blog. lol

Thanks for keeping an eye on me ;)

Re: Make Money With Pay Per Play

Ian,

As I mentioned in the post, it does have a potential to turn your website in collection of "myspace" sort of pages. I would never put the widget on my blog. However if you thin about a lightly bigger news website it can be very easily implemented without a major blow to the audience.

I am not quiet sure if an ad is played for each unique visitor. I would hope so. Otherwise it would be extremely annoying. The code also has a keyword argument. I suppose it for the purposes of selecting appropriate advertisement.

I will let it run on few of my other sites for a few days and then report back with the results.

Thanks for stopping by!

Re: Make Money With Pay Per Play

Mark,

Thanks for stopping by. I think these guys are real "short" on advertisers. I have not heard a single ad on the website I installed. I would never install it here on this blog. But it's something new so I had to bring it up.

When it comes to audio video, I rather have some sort of control what- like play button.

There is more to the program though. I just got bunch of emails from them inviting to their "affiliate SEO" class.... SEO my know what. I will let it run for a few days and then see.

Re: Make Money With Pay Per Play

Josh,

Thanks for stopping by and for your first comment on this new blog.

I am not sure what to think of this program. I am running it on one of the websites, but as you and Mark I am also concerned about it being annoying to my visitors.

I guess I will give it a week or two. So far I have not earned a penny, so much for making money on every visitor.

Re: Still Following

@Josh

I wish I have used Lucia's plugin in the past. By far it is the best dofollow plugin I have ever tried.

Still trying to see what is the bes configuration. I like the idea that not only certain amount of comments required, but also that you can keep comments nofollowed or certain period so you have time to moderate the borderline spammers.

Re: Shoud You Consider Your Own Name For Your Webite’s URL?

Josh,
My main goal was to chose an url that people can actually remember. "Vlad" is not a profitable keyword as far as I am concerned.

Re: Classifieds On WordPress Blog

There is no listing in yet. What you are looking at is the archive for the category classifieds. I think I should set a fake listing.

Re: Classifieds On WordPress Blog

What I was trying to say, as the listings come in it will move th form down, just as any other archived category does.
