I am an Arsenal fan, and it is bloody annoying how everytime someone makes an opinion that doesn't favour Arsenal, you all come out of the wood-work with your anti-Arsenal/ "you hate us!' comments. Just give it up already and talk objectively about the game, stop being such whiners!
About the game, to me it was a penalty, I was shocked that it wasn't called, and watching the replays confirmed my opinion. Kuyt was beat to the ball, reached around him and pulled. Fine, Hleb didn't necessarily try to stay on his feet, but honestly, what player wouldn't have gone down in that position. Clear foul to me.
Eboue is shit, I have no idea how he still starts over Walcott. I hope we sell him this summer

Re: When Does Arsene Become Accountable? | EPL Talk

Then the Telegraph are fools. A clear penalty not called in one game, a very soft penalty called in the next... Game over. They were very level teams in all 3 matches and either teams deserved to win really... and it ended up being 2 Crucial desisions that did in fact dictate who advanced. That's football sometimes, as much as it hurts

Re: Manchester City Wins FA Youth Cup

interesting how Alex Hleb can only comment on the theo walcott bit.....

Re: Win Tickets to The Cesc Fabregas Show | EPL Talk

Barca Youth Team

Re: Which Reading, Birmingham & Derby Players Would You Rescue From The Drop?

Only thing I would change is placing McFadden somewhere on that list, but unsure of who I would replace him with to be honest...

Re: Arsenal Away Shirt For The 08/09 Season: New Photo

I like it personally

Re: Alexander Hleb’s Departure From Arsenal Not A Huge Loss

Another point about Robben. The four goals he did manage to score this past season were at the tailend of the season when Real Madrid had basically already won the title. Other than that, he was pretty much injured all season.
As for replacing Flamini, I think Wenger won't bother buying there and let Song and Diaby fight for that spot. (it is their natural position anyways)
Hleb didn't like playing wide left and wanted to play the supporting striker role where RVP would play (assuming he wasnt injured) forcing RVP to move wide left. Nasri will play anywhere on the field, most likely on the left flank with Walcott on the right (Hopefully!). I am excited for the season!

Re: Is David Bentley Really Worth 15 Million Pounds?

Does not half of the 15m go to Arsenal? Maybe that is part of the reason it was a higher price, to compensate for the 50% or whatever was in the clause when Arsenal sold him to Blackburn. Good bit of business by the Gunners there

Re: One Wish For The 2008/2009 Premier League Season

Aston Villa, im rooting for them to get the 4th spot over Liverscum!
Good team, will be fun to watch

Re: Premier League Footballers On All-Star Injury Fantasy Team

Yea, Rosicky should be on that list, no doubt about that one

Re: FIFA 09 Preview

Anyone know if they are releasing FIFA 09 on the ps2?

Re: Hypocrisy Typifies The Reaction of Opposing Fans to City Takeover

funny you say that, considering the reason why MLS struggles is because of the salary cap....

Re: FIFA 09 Preview

cheers Gaffer!

Re: Two Academy Subs Would Be a Mistake

Michael, just because you don't like 'Alex Hleb' doesn't mean you need to spout out retarded comments like 'I will say that Gerrard is a world class player, which is one more than Arsenal has on their entire team.' So massive that if the club didn't make the Champions league, they would most likely have to sell every quality player and maybe go into admission (here's looking at you Liverpool, and Man Utd as well maybe?). As well as not having a billionare owner who uses my team as a play thing for a hobby, ready to discard when not interesting anymore...

Re: Pavlyuchenko Gets The Wrong End Of The Stick From Ramos

sounds like the scum...

Re: Wenger - The Antithesis Of Evil As Yet Another One Bites The Dust

While I agree with most of what you are saying, I do think your view on Arsenal and its players are alittle love-blind. They are a great club, and I love how Wenger runs the club and more clubs should follow suit. However, I do not agree that Flamini was being selfish exactly. He played out his contact as he had signed, and when it was up, he was free to go, and he went to his boy-hood dream team. Fair enough I say. And to think the players who have grown up in the Arsenal ranks will never leave? Wow, my guess is most, if not all will leave one day. Cesc will leave eventually, I do not doubt it. Especially if we do not win anything soon. These players may have grown up in the club, but they have also seen Arsenal sell off their buddies in the mean time, I think they all realize its a business first. Money talks
