in Posterous vs. Tumblr: A Head to Head on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
excellent post! two great tools, for me its all about posterous, the realization of email as a blog posting format is amazing. its handles media so well, community is a big lag and I've always been frustrated that my two posterous sites share the same profile. themes will be huge, and I would like to post, then choose which sites to push it to. I didn't know you could select which sites to autopost to using email addresses, but that wont work if you run two blogs and use the diff email addresses to select which blog to post to. by far posterous is my fav web app. pls work on autopost so its not a default but an Advanced option so i can select which sites to push content to without confusing my two blogs.

in Bay Area investors I’m following on Twitter on Futuristic Play by @Andrew_Chen
seems like a good roundup of real deal investors in the bay, but in regards to twitter Marc Andreessen @pmarca has on update from 2-3 months ago, so that may not yield great insights. none the less maybe if more folks follow him he will start twittering.

in Twitter and Posterous on mattmaroon.com
once you start using posterous you begin to experience just how simple and powerful it is. I agree that their bookmarklet is incredible, custom URL is super simple, and the a core feature for using native email format for blogging is in and of itself totally awesome.
twitter has become quite mainstream so early adopters are def on the prowl for whats next. also twitter has always been noisy but its gotten much worse as it has grown, and why they cant keep their servers working properly is beyond me.

in Services Worth Paying For as a Startup on Emad Ibrahim
thanks for the links a decent list indeed. like you we pay for very little at our startup, but one thing I have been really impressed with in Endicia (postage/mailing) software and tool ( we are a retailer). Its a great service and totally cheap.
also thanks for link to woothemes, seriously nice and just what i was looking for.

in Weebly scores 1 million users, reaches profitability on VentureBeat
congrats to the weebly crew, this is an awesome product, I recently used it to help my mom setup a simple website and within a few minutes we where adding content and photos, no dump server to deal with, and no constant barrage of updates and versions to worry about. It was way easier than wordpress and fit the need perfectly. its dope to hear about small startups, building incremental value and reaching key milestones, far more interesting than another huge VC funding round for a company with no business model.

in Gary Vaynerchuk - You can have both….Jobs. Way to many people out... on Gary Vaynerchuk
perfect pop of inspiration coming of a labor day spent working hard with co-workers that are also my co-founders. I heart the 9-12 shift, there is something about slipping back in bed late night, dog tired but pumped that you knockout some solid work for yourself, then rolling into work the next morning and being totally oblivious to what ever TV show folks are talking about.
