in Facebook Needs to Fix The Pages Product on AllFacebook
All great points Nick! I found your piece as when you type in Facebook Pages into Blog search in Google you are no 1. Here is no 2, an equally excellent piece on FB Pages from Mari Smith http://www.new.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=79...

Facebook is a pain in the ass about this. I don't believe you can -- you need to just set status and hope people see it. I spoke with the Facebook folks and they said as much. Why? Perhaps it forces you to check it compulsively and jack up their pages views? One can only speculate, but I may close my FB account for this reason.

in Forced Invites Get Shutdown on AllFacebook
hurrah, forced invites are rubbish. as a member of an app development team I cant see any reason why have used this strategy- its not long term thinking and offers the facebooker no value.basically they are greedy. good ridance, bring back ethical business.

in The Facebook Spam Battle Continues on AllFacebook
Hello.I agree with JK. Speaking as someone who's part of a team launching a new app and looking at new ways to spread it virally and ETHICALLY outside of invites. Personally, shoe on the other foot, as a regular facebooker I got fed up with all my app invites and so got that toolbar widget that kills em all in one go. So back to basics I think, apps spread via personal contacts & referals on their own strength, not via invites.(although being sent that You Are Sexy app is quite re assuring on a bad hair day)
