Don't worry taxpayers... Athletics at S. Colonie are far more important than academics. They will be cutting more teachers this year, but rest assured, there will be a new press box for the sports teams. Cutting $154,000 from the budget for instruction ( that means teachers in classrooms) while trying to scam the taxpayers into paying fior a new press box? This administration has clearly lost sight of why they go to work in the morning.

According to the budget mailer, almost a MILLION dollars for sports programs, but more teachers will be laid off this year. Amazing how the administration puts so much effort into this issue while "time are tough"

Geeze, thanks for helping out the Iraqis with the free health care. We sure could use some free health care here at home. That's where I would rather see my tax dollars spent.

What's wrong with executing high profile corporste criminals? Had that been the policy in the 1980's maybe the crooks who caused trllions of dollars of marketcap losses the past 15 years might not have taken the chances they did and we wuld not be in the mess we are now in.
