A lot of people think of them as being the same, but reparing permissions is different than disk defragmenter on Windows.

A good read is John Greuber's article on the voodoo of repairing permissions.

I would love to see the ultra portable. I'm not in the market for a new laptop right now but when my 12" PowerBook finally dies I'd love to pick up it's MacBook Pro counterpart. But Apple needs a few versions to work out the kinks.

I spent some time perusing the site this morning after seeing your tweet on it and I think it looks outstanding.

Top to bottom it has a great look and feel.

To some designers out there, I may have breached etiquette a bit by mixing a serif font for titling (Georgia) and a sans (Lucidia Grande) for body copy, but I thought it would be a nice break for the eyes and help keep sections more separated visually.

I don't think that is breaking etiquette. I do the same on my site.

I am always advising people about your first point. So many blogs start and then they run out and promote but they only have one or two posts that say "Hello World" or "Well, here I am. I'm a blogger now."

They need to work their blogging muscle, and get a little pillow of posts published.

When I can't keep up with my feeds I skim through and bookmark the one's that look like 'pillar' posts. Then go back and read them when I have time.

Have you thought about slimming down your RSS list?
