I only got through the first 3 chapters so far...I told myself that I would read it to give it a fair observance...this is what I got from reading those first three chapters.


I watched him on O also and got in a few good giggles. It was after the giggles were over that I started to think about what was going on. There was a girl on there talking about "receiving" oral sex so that she wouldn't break her sex before marriage vow...WTF?!? If she really thought that any number of those dudes was putting their face between her legs just to please her and not expecting one day to be the dude to go ahead and finish the job, then she is as dumb as she appeared.



But it is stuff like that I guess that feed into the notion that books like this are needed. When you have women making stupid decisions like they have no clue what to do with their lives, then you get a comedian writing a book telling them how to.

I've seen dudes reading the book too...::smh::


Common sense goes a long way...too bad some folks don't recognize that.

I agree Coop...where are the brains? When you need a man telling you what you should already know, you are in trouble...

Byron...don't know who you are, but I left a comment on the Web site with my opinion.


What I see is another brick in the divide that is already widening between black and white, liberal and conservative...the "I don't get it" mentality is a cop out. It is okay to say I don't get it; but don't stop there...use your resources to try to get it.

I've run into a lot of folks that don't care for him...he does give off an attitude that can turn folks off, but at times I find him funny...and his radio show makes me giggle...



But this book? I'm not riding the wave...I got it as a result of joining the Black Expression Book Club, and I read it, but I'm not impressed at all. He's not saying what we shouldn't already know.

No need for me to do that...as with most corporate companies, I would make the natural assumption that few of their management would be non-white.



But that's not my point here. My point is that these types of incidents are meant to demean and incense...and we somehow have to take the stance that they no longer do. Either we allow it to motivate us to do something, or we let it stifle us to stay complacent.

There was a point in time when I could quote those books...seriously! LOL...
