Yes, Twitter townhall is a great idea. I love Twitter. It's simplicity is amazing. I am aware about the limitations of the technology and other issues. But recently, very often, i ask, 'Twitter, what are you doing?'

in 2008/05/05/google-reader-shared-items-upgrades/ on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
I am a big fan of Google reader. I try to promote it on my Pune real estate blog. But big majority of my readers prefer email subscriptions than RSS feeds. Sharing is basically popular only in close friends and social media is unknown territory. Considering this now i am planning to promote "email this post to your friend" , not friends only 1 friend. But personally i enjoy sharing and use Google reader a lot.

"but I haven’t seen anyone really get it easy-enough-to-use to have a chance of getting anyone but the geekiest early adopters to use it." this is shocking!
In my Pune real estate market, home automation is "in thing" Builders believe that all IT professionals, particularly those have worked in US, can't live with out it! Good, there are still 14 - 18 months to complete the projects. I can start a blog and conduct workshop on using home automation products!

in Twitter as a blog promotion tool on Shooting at Bubbles
I am happy with my 1 or 2 visits! Because i blog on Pune real estate. Most of the people on Twitter do not even know where is Pune. If i get a 3rd visit i feel sorry for taking his time. But i enjoy following interesting people and reading new posts which most of the time i do not understand. Conclusion - Twitter attracts passers by and if you write quality posts, like Louis, they subscribe to you and read your feeds.

Yes! True. FriendFeed is the best way.

"Are you listening? How many things have YOU liked or commented on this week?"

Yes, sir. I am going to work on it.

This all sounds good but tell me what happens in reality. Is your interaction (updates) monitored by this social network? Is there any policy about the ratio between the personal updated and sharing links of the stuff with others. What is considered as a spamming and how it is prevented. Tell me in reality how much 'policing' is done. I will appreciate if you tell me more about the censorship imposed by the social network!

Congrats! This is a great news. I am Google fan so naturally i am very happy. More than this, it means now Google is less mysterious for the people who do not surf much but use the internet. It means the awareness about the web is crossing the boundary of the e mail. Google is becoming the part of the main stream brand wagon. It means web2.0 is coming close to the real world.(!?)
