I love that I met so many wonderful people on Twitter, but that just makes it all the more frustrating when Twitter is down! I also love that so many people flocked to Plurk, because that meant i could still talk to the same people ... but now Plurk is having the same issues in reliability as Twitter.

Preferably, I'd like some database/coding genius to go to Twitter and say, "Let me help." Twitter is *home* to me. I want to stay. But I need to be sociable. And if Twitter can't minimize the downtime, I'll go back to chat rooms and message boards.

You know I love reading your blogs, so I hope you know I'm really looking forward to all of your adventurous updates. I think that life's adventures are too important to avoid seizing upon them when possible.

And life itself is too fragile to sit back and let it pass you by.

Kudos for your sense of adventure, your go-get-em gumption, and for having the forsight to plan on blogging the whole shebang. You know this has been my vote from the start (does "pick a place, and go" sound familiar?), and that I, in my own small way, have chosen to travel & see as well. I may not be able to go to this extent, but I look forward to seeing the adventure through your eyes.

While I've never made a jump as big as you're making, I like changing up my life now and then with a move or a job change or whatever. I think that life is meant to be lived, and that means experiencing everything you can while you can.

I think you're incredible for the changes you are about to make. There is no doubt that there will be struggle, but you have a sense of adventure and a desire to make it work, so you'll settle in just fine.

I'm so glad you're doing this, and that I can follow your adventure ... because I have a feeling it is going to be a fun one to read about!!

And, actually, I'd like to cut down on having so many alternate email addresses ... I hate giving out my 'always' email addy to just anyone, even when i want to share a file. so, this makes a VERY viable option for me.

So ifn you disappear we know why, eh? I hope it doesn't get that bad ... when we have hurricanes, we have to go without water and air and it SUCKS! Course, I'd rather do it in the winter, when I can cover up *L* Not that it makes it any easier.

My friend and I used Picasa many many years ago, when it first came out. We *loved* it, and spent hours taking pictures and sharing them, just to play around with Picasa. The kids got in on the action too, sending me showers and showers of falling hearts.

Then, randomly, one by one, Picasa stopped working on our & our
"friends" computers. Mine always seemed to be ok, but since i had nobody to talk and share with anymore, I uninstalled it.

The new Flock ROCKS even more than the old Flock! I love it. Muchly. :D
