I am a fan of Lenny "Nails" Dykstra, especially back in '93 with the Phils. He was a tough ballplayer! As a former baseball player myself up through college it was that kind of hustle and toughness you aspired to. I was sorry to hear Lenny is now bankrupt. But look at Donald Trump, he was bankrupt too and seems to be doing ok these days. Who knows, maybe he will give the Web a try with his next business rather than a car wash. I am pulling for him.

Oh I agree with you. How is Pete Rose not in the HOF?! Totally ridiculous! He should be there and I think eventually he will be. I guess I am somewhat optimistic since half the homers the last couple decades were juiced which in my opinion is way worse than betting on baseball. I think the HOF voting system is messed up but that is a whole other discussion. I am Cubs fan at heart but you can imagine that is painful in itself but you gotta love the National Pastime. :)

Hi Mark, Thanks for the candid feedback I am going to link to it in our wrap-up post. It was our first conference ever so as you can imagine we learned a lot from the experience as we worked towards our mission of better connecting and amplifying the technology signal in under served communities. I am glad you got a chance to head to the event and meet and interact with some other tech folks from Chicago and other TECH cocktail communities. I would love to see you at the next TECH cocktail event and meet you in person.

Great question Jimmy. I used to code but really always have been artsy. I take photos of everything, produce videos and like to make things ... oh and I play guitar and make music too. So I guess I am an artisan at heart. :)

I think the MobileMe is a brilliant move by Apple as they maintain your contact list for you and you pay them to do it.
