in In Japan You Can Take Classes From Your Cell Phone on How To Split An Atom
The problem with lectures and almost all teaching is it tends to be 100% verbal the student then writes it down but the transition between hearing and writing is so small nothings taken in and it happens constantly and the teacher might as well just photo copy everything. For teaching to advance firther there needs to be visual, audio and more in depth talking to teach, my teacher has a great technique where he used visuals like microsoft presentation with kep points tlaks about them then gives you website links for more information. Thats where all teahcing needs to go.

(i run a student website get pms over techniques to take more in when teacher just talk and you carnt help them, just write it down and read over not the most fun thing nore engaging)

"The Future Of Education

While it seems pretty clear that this is a great way to disseminate information to learners on the go, is it a good way to learn? I think it depends on the class. For a traditional lecture where a student listens, takes notes and then studies these notes for a test, allowing easy access to the lecture anywhere can be a life saver. However, for some courses, especially on smaller, less abstract subjects you need to have a way to directly interact with the lecturer."
