I used to try to read Dowd's articles. I really, did. But I would have to give up on them half-way through because she writes like a friggin' Hollywood gossip columnist, only the "celebrities" are politicians. So, one day, I see she's going to be on George Stephanopoulis' Sunday morning show. Since I'd never seen her "in person" so- to-speak, I had to tune in - who is this woman? She sat there looking stoned (seriously!) and barely joined in the discussion. When she did have something to say, she spoke in a very simplistic manner that reminded me of characters in the movie "Dazed and Confused". Needless to say, I don't even try to read her articles anymore.
