Your old mom has kept up her goal of going to the gym 3-4 times/week for the past month!! I spend 15 minutes on the elyptical (sp) and 30 minutes on the treadmill at a minimum heart rate of 120. Then I lift weights! Jim says he can tell the difference. All I know is I really do feel better. I'm waiting for some weight to fall off. I go first thing in the morning before work and still make it to work by 8am. Not bad for an old broad!!

I bought some at Central Market and they are absolutely the best apples ever!! If you like those, you'll probably like Asian pears. They're equally good.

Do you live in a vacuum. That's all that's on the news. When I was in Brenham the other day, it was splashed all over the newspaper because every motel/hotel room in town was filled up. I had to stay at a B&B. Also, they interrupted Oprah today with an address from the President. Maybe you should turn on the TV!!! Love you,

Hey goofy, get that taken care of. You could have permanent hearing loss!!! WHAT??? DID YOU HEAR THAT? HEARING LOSS!!!! You can put some alcohol in to dry up the moisture but you really need to have that looked at. In the future, always put some alcohol in your ears after swimming. I'm really proud you got out of bed that early. You're growing up!!! I'm so proud.

God, that is sooo true. I get sooo much pleasure from watching the humming birds jockying for position on the trumpet vines. I also really enjoy looking at the pecan trees and watching the cardinals on the fence. I also am marveled at how many animals mate for life, i.e., Mexican eagles, cardinals, etc. Really cool.
