Could you explain that fifth theory a bit more? And apropos of creation, I've been reading various online comments of the religious theories of Calvin. (I'm a Presbyterian and didn't know all that about "total inability to receive God's grace, etc."!) The person who was refuting all that was quite convincing...but what seems strange to me in all the talk about "original sin" and "the fall of man through Adam" etc. is that no reference is made to those millions of years before man even appeared on earth. Surely, that has to be taken into account. Those religious theories always seem to start with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Edon, which, if in any way true, would only have been ...let's say...100,000 or maybe 200,000 years ago. And even then, man just didn't pop up out of nowehre, created by God or not. If you don't believe in evolution, then that's a different story, but I believe both in evolution and whatever the Bible is trying to say about the first appearance of man. That's when your five theories of creation come into play. What do you think?
