in Bursting Into Life on But A Poor Reflection
Beautiful! Forsythia doesn't grow well in our area and I have missed seeing it. It grew very well throughout Kentucky (my home state) and was always one of my favorite shrubs.

Thanks, Vicki. Everything looks better when Spring arrives, don't you agree?

in Climate changes in blogosphere on But A Poor Reflection
Hey, Paul. Typically, here in Florida, our February is pleasant - comfortable days and cool nights. However, we've had a cold front come through this week with strong winds, so we've been below freezing at nighttime.

in Too Good to be True on But A Poor Reflection
It's too bad that people feel the need to fantasize a bit about things. The story in its true state could have been romantic anyway. Nevertheless, you are fortunate that your company turned down the story...and I applaud you and your company for holding to your standards of publishing that which honors God and serves an 'out-of-this-world' purpose.

in Impetuous! Homeric! on Lake Neuron
I couldn't begin to count how many times my hubby and I have seen this movie (watched it again last night, in fact). It's one of our top five favorites and it never gets old.
I love the "fresh as a daisy" - "black-eyed Susan" verbal joust right in the middle of the fight.

in Here’s what an idiot I am on Lake Neuron
So, Art, are you saying that since I'm a cat-person, I'm an idiot?
John, you're not an idiot; you're just inexperienced! My cat reminds me very loudly that she "needs" her hairball treats.

in Remembering Keith Green on Lake Neuron
I, too, loved Keith Green and his musical legacy. His music was fairly radical at that time, but it has endured. There are a great many of his songs that I consider favorites, but the first one that always comes to mind is, "Make My Life a Prayer to You."
His music, and the life that ended much too soon, brings to mind another of my favorite Christian artists, Rich Mullins.

in Your love broke through on Lake Neuron
Thank you for mentioning Keith Green and his incredibly insightful music. I have been a fan of his music for many years, which is second only to the musical poetry and theology of Rich Mullins. Two men, at times controversial, whose earthly ministry was cut short, but their music remains...it's almost scriptural.
