I agree about the lifestyle thing. Different people just have different motivations in life. I understand Jason's point and appreciate what he is saying.

I have a new video project launching soon. I shall let you know how I get along with the selling of ads. I think it has great potential.

There was an earthquake here in the UK last week. As soon as it happened i switched the TV on and nothing! 24 hour news channels had no breaking news on it, after 10 minutes I went and checked online and there was a breaking news ticker on the bbc news website, but nothing more. Just an announcement. On local forums and blogs there were already posts regarding the earthquake.

We should definitely take care in what we say. Being respectful is just a part of life and personal morality. I am a firm believer in treating people with respect.

As to whether or not the blog posts are to blame for the suicide - it may have played a part, but the blog post was not the problem. The problems were much deeper than that.

Hopefully it will be reliable too! You do hear about a few of these free hosting companies which tend to only last a short period of time. Make sure you backup your new blog to somewhere safe Mr Cow!

Should keep the investors happy!

Will be interesting to see how this develops. People using specific tags to get the highest paying ads is a possibility but I am sure they will have figured this out themselves.

I believe Radiohead actually ended up making more money on their latest album than the one before that which just goes to show the technique is not totally dumb. A lot of this could be attributed to the huge amount of press coverage regarding the concept.

It is a shame Ask cant keep their own development up and need Google. No competition is not good news.The pressure is on for MS and Yahoo to do something special.

It is very interesting how such big companies are paying attention to blogs in order to manage their reputations. In my eyes a very smart move.

Great tips - there is so much information out there you really do need to remember to keep yourself working on your business and not doing "busy work".

It is not hard to iamgine that is true. The internet offers whatever you want it to whenever you want it to. TV is stuck on a fixed program catering for a wide variety of tastes. Not to mention they if there is ever more than one thing you would like to watch they will be on at the same time.

They are all great companies, but they are also very big and competitive companies. This in theory should lead to them working hard for their market share and producing tools which benefit us. It just seems at this point in time that Google is getting away from the pack more and more as time goes on.

I think that people have just lost interest a bit. It has become overrun with spammy apps and PR firms are managing celebrities profiles and some severely uncool people like politicians are using it as a tool to appear cool to kids.

Everyone loves these inspiring stories. Truth is it takes a lot of guts and commitment to make it happen, so Jonathan deserves all the praise he can get.
