I don't find the new design confusing at all.  I've been using it for a few weeks and I like the new design because it brings the mini feed and wall together to create more of a dialogue around activities and status updates.  I think it will only encourage more discussion/interaction and use of &lt;a href="http://Facebook.com" rel="nofollow"&gt;Facebook.com&lt;/a&gt; which means more eyeballs, more ad revenue.  A good move by Facebook.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;And to the person who says the Home page is a duplicate of your profile page... look again!  Home is the old news feed that brings in all of your friend's activities, status updates, etc.  Your profile page is the old mini feed that has your activities, status updates, and comments from friends about you!
