I live at the base of Mt. Shasta. It's even more spectacular than Rainier. A little shorter, but a free standing mountain.

I like the North Island best, too. It's warmer, and the South Island is pretty much like my home in the Cascade Mountains.

It's hard to find anything not to like about New Zealand. I think the thing I enjoy most are the Kiwis and their great sense of humor. Of course, I appreciate your dimples, too.
