My parents to me in little league football

I have used this principal in every aspect of my life since then.

Re: Living Green at Spelman College

Just wanted to share some news that I saw this morning about your university:
Spelman Gets $17 million Gift from anonymous benefactor
http://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/stories/2008...

Prairie View Alum (c/o '04)

Re: DNC Quick Thoughts

Perception is everything, most Americans don't pay attention to issues or the news. We generally vote on personality in this country. Hell janitors where suits to interviews, not because it is required for work but because we have been conditioned to believe that wearing a suit means that you are a smart and a hard worker. Michelle is multidimensional just like the rest of us. P Diddy has admitted to showcasing certain sides of himself more to portray a certain image. Everybody does it and so do companies. Obama is Coca Cola and McCain is Pepsi what you see on the news are merely commercials. The commercial does not change whats in the drink.

Re: African American Political Pundit:: Democrats may not have the ability to beat the Republicans

In my opinion beating the Republians is easy for Obama. The real issue is still can he defeat Hillary. Mathematical exactness aside the primaries was almost a tie. So the party is trying really hard to make sure those hillary supporters not only remain democrats but get out the bed on Nov. 4th and vote. If all of supporters just decide not to stand in line and vote The democrats will have defeated themselves. Obama also ran his own race during the primaries and that allowed him to win. While others attacked him and each other he offered hope and solutions. I say run the race like a trackstar, worry about your lane and never look back.

Re: GlobalGrind Simplifies Design

I like the new site better than the page flakes layout. I already had a netvibes account and did not see a need for the site in its previous state. I was however thinking of using the pligg api to create a digg clone for black news. Sites like digg and reddit are so over run by tech geeks that getting news that is important to blacks to the front page is almost impossible. I also hope that the site maintains a balance of what is important and interesting to blacks and does not become a link dump for hip hop and black celebrity gossip.

Re: Cuil is not Cool

I liked the layout but how can you claim to have more sites indexed than Google yet have no search results for so many sites? Naturally I checked my site but when I got the message chalked it up to us being a fairly new site. Still considering she sold her software once to Google it should be a good site to stay up to date on especially if it IPO's down the line.

Re: 12seconds.tv Invites!

Thanks for the invite!

Re: Gorilla Nation Broadens Its African-American Reach

Just clicked on the blackwebportal link in the post, it says that it is a reported attack site?

Re: Gorilla Nation Broadens Its African-American Reach

I clicked ignore warning since you had no problems and was able to see the site. They have a hacker update on the homepage that basically says that since July 26 they have had continuous attacks against their database and that they are in the process of upgrading their systems. This explains the warning message I was receiving.
