Don't feel bad about it. I felt the same way when I heard. No idea why. I normally don't feel any sympathy for celebrities, but his death is a notable exception.

Sales tax depends on whether or not you are shipping an item to a state where the company has a business address. Data Robotics appears to be headquartered in California. So, if I bought it and shipped it here to Texas, likely there would be no sales tax. But, if they have any place of business here, then I'd pay state sales tax.
