I am so excited for all of your adventures in life. And your attitude is continually inspiring. VEGETARIAN caught my eye.

You see, my husband (Justin) and I leave on September 30th to backpack to various countries around the world for a year or so. We are both vegetarians. That should make eating while in the certain areas of the world more difficult.

As we have been planning for our adventure we have been updating a blog. www.nomadbackpackers.com We would love to have other opinions, ideas, encouragement, advice, helpful tips, and more left as comments.

Thanks,
Natalie

Re: Six Apart Launches Blogs.com as Blog Directory

Thanks for letting us know about this. Then emphatize with the fact that they are probably tired. Hand them at least $1 tip, smile, and tell them to enjoy their night, once they get off of work.

I grew up a block from the Dollar Car Wash (yes it only cost $1, but now in 2008 it's $2) across the street from "Woman Care" the abortion clinic. Incase the tip still doesn't make sense...it's basically, relate to someone as a person not as a race. Which, it sounds like you really want to do, because God made us all equall. Right?

Anyway, if you want to follow my husband (also named Justin) and myself as we explore cultural differences within various countries around the world, feel free to check us out: www.nomadbackpackers.com

We leave on September 30th to backpack to different countries around the world for a year or so. That is quite the horrible experience. Justin and I leave for our adventure on Sept. 30th and we were discussing heading to Croatia after my bro ties the knot in Italy.

Thanks for sharing the truth about Hostel Palacida (I can almost see the yellow piece of paper in my mind).

Unfortunately, I can relate (somewhat) with the feeling of being locked out of a hostel for the night. Except, Captain Conrad the owner of the Pirate Hostel heard my husband and I knocking on the door making lots of noise. He rescued us from your experience of being locked out for the night.

Feel free to read about our adventures at the Pirate Hostel and how super cheap our entire experience was: http://www.nomadbackpackers.com/2008/04/14/arrr...

Or see if we made it to Split yet. www.nomadbackpackers.com

Don't worry we'll tell your favorite Croatian fam you said "hi"!

Natalies last blog post..The Mosquito that Cost me $800!

Re: Falling in Love with Travel

I am really glad you decided to publish and share this article. Super enjoyable and easier to take a more realistic approach to travel. I think the website www.travelsucks.com allows people to share all of these "realistic" tales of travel (they still love it too, I promise).

And I am 100% sure that you/travel have grown together.

Natalie´s last blog post..No Ice Climbing for us…pancakes?

Re: Ride a Harley with Eaglerider for a scenic road tour

Your travel experiences sound incredible!
